My Story

Hi, I’m Kim!

Kim Pike Walters Money Coach

I’ve always had a knack for numbers — math was my favorite subject in school. This interest led me to pursue a degree in Business Economics, a CPA license, and an MBA. My career in corporate finance provided me with valuable experience, but my true fulfillment came from volunteering as a tax preparer (yes, I’m a nerd who looks forward to tax season each year).

I spent over a decade volunteering as a tax preparer and saw time and again how stressed people were when it came to their money. I’ve also seen how much a person’s quality of life can improve when given the right support and financial guidance. There’s nothing quite like seeing the relief on a client’s face when a tax refund enables them to pay rent or put food on the table.

The hundreds of conversations I’ve had with these clients over the years led me to becoming a financial coach. It truly felt like a calling — a way to merge my financial expertise with my desire to help others. Today, I empower people to overcome financial challenges, such as getting out of debt, increasing savings, and spending with confidence.

I understand that money can often feel overwhelming. That’s why I’m here: to demystify money, provide clear guidance, and help you use it as a tool to achieve your goals and live a fulfilling life. Think of me as your partner and guide on your journey towards financial success — here to support and empower you along the way. If you’re ready to take charge of your finances and reach your goals, let’s work together to make it happen!

A few of my favorite things:

  • Pug dog with toy

    My dog, Hundley

This guy sleeps about 22 hours per day! You may even hear him snoring in the background during a call :)

  • Jigsaw puzzle pieces

    Puzzles

I lose track of time when puzzling, especially if I'm also listening to a great audio book!

  • Stacked books

    Reading

Lately I've been enjoying romantasy & self development books.

  • Board game Ticket to Ride

    Board Games

I'm especially into legacy games, as they layer in a story telling element...and you sometimes get to rip up cards!

TODAY IS THE DAY TO EMBRACE CHANGE

Are you ready?
